Rachael Haley - Acupuncturist & Chinese Herbalist

Rachael has been a healthcare practitioner since 2005; initially as a Myotherapist and then she transitioned into Traditional Chinese medicine (Acupuncture & herbs) in 2010. She has worked in private practice in Sutherland, the St. George area, Bondi and now in Woolooware (near Cronulla).

Having grown up watching family members struggle with chronic illness, Rachael developed an interest in the body and preventative medicine from an early age. She had her first successful introduction to acupuncture at 11 years old for an ankle injury. Needless to say she became an acupuncture advocate and primarily sought acupuncture to recover from sporting injuries, aches and pains and supporting her general wellbeing during her teenage years and beyond.

Rachael loves assisting those looking for pain relief and stress management. She is passionate supporting women and couples trying to conceive, women with menstrual and other hormonal issues (including endometriosis, fibroids and PCOS), pregnancy and postpartum care. As well as those seeking support with difficult to treat and chronic degenerative conditions.

More recently Rachael has undertaken an intensive 6 month long mentorship training in Classical Acupuncture with Ann Cecil-Sterman (who wrote the manual for Advanced Acupuncture and covers all 68 acupuncture channels).

Rachael’s dedication to professional development keeps her inspired in the clinic to help people have more freedom in their lives.

Outside of the clinic Rachael is busy mum with her preschool son and enjoys spending quality time outdoors, cooking, an exercise class and spending time with good friends.

Jen discovered TCM in her teens, when acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine became the keys to her recovery from debilitating migraines.

She completed her TCM degree (UTS) straight after high school in 2006 which included a clinical internship at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Chaoyang, Beijing, China.

Jen has been practicing in the eastern suburbs of Sydney since 2007 working alongside many holistic practitioners such a physiotherapists, osteopaths, naturopaths, counsellors and podiatrists in different multi-modality clinics.

Jen has a special interest in working with women’s health, fertility support, migraines, facial rejuvenation and sports injuries. She uses a tactile approach to her gentle treatments to locate blockages and release them with acupuncture.

Outside of the clinic Jen is a busy mum with primary school girls and toddler son and loves gardening, cooking and planning the next family adventure.

Jen is currently available in Woolooware on Wednesdays.
